L'Allegro e Il Penseroso

This is an art project I made for a class, based on the poems L'Allegro and Il Penseroso by John Milton. They're sister poems and are best read together. This drawing, made to resemble an aged mural, portrays the opening scenes of both poems where the goddesses of Mirth and Melancholy are banished.
